The researchers of the Department of Life Sciences make their technical and scientific expertise available to public and private organizations in the environmental, biomedical and psychological fields.

In particular, the various skills and advanced scientific instruments available at the Department can be offered for applied research projects and services for:

1. monitoring, protection and promotion of the environment and training for the responsible use of environmental resources
2. design, implementation and validation of biomolecules, biomaterials and release systems of active compounds, biological assays for drug screening or toxicology assessments for biomedical research and innovation
3. realization of projects and development of techniques for evaluation and promotion of psychological well-being at the workplace, and at social, developmental, educational levels and in sports and tourism, as well as training projects for the prevention of inequalities and social discriminations.
