SPARE (2024-2026)
The SPARE project aims to develop applied research capacity on the holistic utilization of hemp and foster the effective transfer of knowledge and technology to enterprises, being able to generate added value from sustainable agricultural resources. The partnership, composed of three research institutions with complementary expertise and two entities with broad potential for multiplication and dissemination of results, will identify replicable applications of sustainable utilization of hemp and its components and ingredients, consistent with the potentials of the border area, which will be the focus of new supply chains promoted through pilot experiments and prototyping activities. Through the project, it will contribute to the development of the circular economy in FVG, Veneto, Carinthia and Tyrol and to the awareness of stakeholders on these strategic issues.
