Project: InnovH2O (2011 - 2014)

Large International Projects coordinates by DSV

Innov-H2O was a project aimed at creating a cross-border network for innovation and technology transfer in aquaculture, active between 2011 and 2014, as part of the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Italy-Slovenia 2007-2013. Coordinated by the Department of Life Sciences, Innov-H20 involved 8 Partners, equally distributed in Italy (north-east) and Slovenia.

Innov-H20 brought together biology and veterinary researchers, mediators between research and producers and 2 companies. Thanks to an intense mediation activity (focus groups, thematic tables, meetings), the researchers have directed their studies towards the problems represented by the producers and these now have technical-scientific references at the universities and research centers.
