Maria Michelina Raso, a PhD student in Molecular Biomedicine at the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Trieste, obtained the first prize for the best poster at the 15^th European Training Course on Carbohydrates which took place in Wageningen, Holland, at the end of June.

The doctoral project of Raso regards the development of glycoconjugate vaccines and is carried out under the supervision of Prof. Paola Cescutti and Dr. Francesca Micoli (GSK Vaccines Institute for Global Health).
