The tenth edition of the photo contest “Arte o Scienza? Immagini dalla ricerca” is open.  The contest is open to students and researchers enrolled in or affiliated to Universities or other Research Institutes. The photos must be issued within the frame of scientific research in physics, biology, medicine etc, and must also have an artistic value.

Each participant can submit up to 5 photos, which will be evaluated by a special committee. A selection of the best photos will be printed and displayed in an exhibition taking place in Trieste in fall 2019. The winner will also be awarded a cash prize of € 500.00.

The deadline to apply through the online form is July 10th 2019.

The contest is organized by the Science Centre Immaginario Scientifico and the University of Trieste, within the Memorandum of Understanding “Trieste City of Knowledge”.
