Biosketch

Lisa Di Blas is Associate Professor in Psychometrics at the University of Trieste since 2005. She has got her master degree in Philosophy in 1991, University of Trieste, and her ph.D in Experimental Psychology in 1996, University of Trieste.
Her research is mainly focused on personality assessment from different theories and methods. She has contributed towards the development of personality psycholexical taxonomies from both emic and cross-cultural perspectives. She has also investigated personality development and assessment in late childhood as well as adolescence. Currently, she is mainly focused on personality processes by investigating short-term within-person dynamics as well as long-term changes.


Among her contributions:
- psycholexical taxonomies (JPSP 1999, 2004, 2010; EJP, 1998, 2000, 2005)
- interpersonal circumplex (EJPA 2000, JP 2007, BRM, 2010)
- personality development and assessment in childhood (JP, 2007; JRP, 2011; Assess, 2012)
- personality changes (PsyTop, 2017, EaDis, 2016)
- personality dynamics (JRP, 2017)


Professor Di Blas has more than thirty published peer reviewed papers and books or book chapters. She chaired the16th European Conference on Personality and she currently is among consultant editors of JRP.
