Collaboration agreement between the Department of Life Sciences and Shinshu University of Matsumoto, Japan

An agreement has been signed for student research and exchange activities, which also involves the University and the Department of Medical Sciences, with the Shinshu University of Matsumoto (Japan).

In this regard, a delegation from the Japanese university last December visited the laboratories of the Department. In the context of the visit, Prof. Pallavicini, Tossi and Pacor, as responsible for the advanced services for DNA sequencing, biacore and flow cytometry, respectively, presented the activities of the structures they coordinate. Prof. Collavin, vice-coordinator of the PhD course in Molecular Biomedicine, presented the course, in the presence of the coordinator prof. Meroni. Prof. Macor, departmental delegate to international mobility and prof. Stocco, coordinator of the exchange for the DSV also attended the meeting.

The meeting with the delegation was held in the conference room of the Q building and the visit then extended to the laboratories of the same building and to the pharmacogenomics laboratory in the FC building. Also the Shinshu University reported on its website a news about these agreement and visit.
